On the occasion of its 30th anniversary, INVIMA announced the launch of InvimÁgil, an innovative digital platform that will transform the management of sanitary procedures in Colombia. This tool is initially aimed at individuals, legal entities, and companies in the food and alcoholic beverages sector, and seeks to simplify the processes related to the commercialization of regulated products.
In its initial phase, launched on May 8, users can access the user creation and company registration modules through the portal invimagil.invima.gov.co. This will allow them to begin the registration process within the system and prepare for the next steps, which will be progressively enabled.
InvimÁgil has been designed to operate fully online, with an intuitive interface, sectioned forms, and step-by-step guided navigation. Users will be able to self-manage their procedures, significantly reducing response times and strengthening the risk-based oversight approach.
Additionally, the platform allows for the registration of specific activities such as manufacturing, packaging, or importing, and enables electronic management of marketing authorizations. Internal roles and permissions can also be assigned within each company to facilitate operations within the system.
With this initiative, the agency aims to modernize its inspection, surveillance, and control functions, while promoting competitiveness in the productive sector.
The implementation of InvimÁgil represents a significant step forward in INVIMA’s digital transformation and a strong commitment to efficiency, transparency, and the protection of public health in Colombia.
