Year after year, the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) celebrates the work of entrepreneurs, start-ups, and small businesses from universities that, through innovative and creative strategies, manage to use Intellectual Property to impact economic development and social sectors.
To choose the awardees, elements such as: i) the transformation of research into successful business strategies; ii) the achievement of economic growth through IP-driven strategies; and iii) the development of innovations that contribute to the achievement of the UN Sustainable Development Goals will be considered.
The winners will be invited to the awards ceremony in Geneva in July 2025, where, for the first time, the best woman entrepreneur and the best young entrepreneur will be honored and will also receive a tailor-made mentoring program.
The SIC invites all Colombian innovators to submit their candidacy for the awards at the following link, with a deadline of March 31.
