On 28 February 2018, the Colombian Regulatory Authority (INVIMA in Spanish) informed that the Andean Community (CAN in Spanish) formulated a draft decision on the updating of the Andean Decision 516/2002.
The Decision establishes harmonized requirements and procedures that must be met by cosmetic products originating in Member Countries and third countries, when commercialized in the Andean subregion.
As a result, CAN published the update for international consultation, in order to receive comments from the cosmetics and citizenship industry about this project. As deadline, next March 18 of this year.
