Colcapital and Deloitte presented the 2026 Private Equity and Venture Capital Ecosystem Report, highlighting that Colombia’s industry reached USD 31.8 billion in committed capital (+12% vs. 2024), with venture capital leading in dynamism, accounting for 502 active investments.
The report also highlights the 30% cap on foreign investments by pension funds (AFPs)—which represent 42% of the industry’s capital—and introduces Colcapital’s 2026–2030 roadmap, which, in the areas of private equity and venture capital, will focus on the creation of funds.
