Recently, the Registration Office for the National Directorate of Copyright has automated three procedures to enhance the citizen´s experience when they use the platform for registering works. The following procedures were automated:
- Validation of the registration certificate information through a QR code: Every registration certificate includes a QR code that provides access to the information of registered works.
- Certificates in process: In case the applicant requires a document that validates the registration application of a work, a certificate confirming the ongoing process can be requested.
- Identification of foreign users: Foreigners can now request the registration of a work by using their passport number or their current foreigner identification number.
With these new procedures, all citizens interested in making an application, can expect a better all-around experience.
