Gian Carlo obtained his law degree from the Universidad de los Andes, where he completed a Master’s Degree in Intellectual Property as an undergraduate option. He is currently pursuing a Specialisation in Industrial Property, Copyright and New Technologies at the Universidad Externado de Colombia.

Gian Carlo has 3 years of work experience in law firms, specifically in intellectual property. His professional practice has focused on the management of intellectual property rights, the protection of portfolios of distinctive signs, clearance of audiovisual productions and the drafting of copyright assignments. In addition, he has led software infringement negotiations and participated in administrative nullity and trademark infringement lawsuits.

Gian Carlo is part of OlarteMoure’s Litigation and Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) team, assisting in judicial and extrajudicial proceedings in intellectual property matters.
