Viviana received her degree in Chemistry from the Universidad Industrial de Santander (Bucaramanga, Colombia) in 2013 and her degree as Specialist in Industrial Property, Copyright and New Technologies from the Universidad Externado (Bogotá, Colombia) in 2019.

Her practice focuses on conducting searches, drafting patent applications and patent prosecution. Much of her practice focuses on identifying technologies with patentability potential in universities, research-intensive industries, food, pharmaceutical and life sciences industries and developing strategies for the protection of these technologies.

In 2015 Viviana joined OlarteMoure in Medellín and since then she has been working as a technical associate in the patent area, where she searches, drafts and processes patent applications in the chemical and biotechnological sector in Colombia and Latin America. Since 2016 Viviana has been working as a member of the Bucaramanga office and since 2022 she has been working as a leader in the life sciences area.
