Nicolás is an attorney from Universidad de los Andes, with a minor in Economics. For two years, he worked as a Teacher’s Assistant on the Contractual Law course and was a member of the Mergers and Acquisitions Research Group. He has experience and academic training in matters related to personal data protection, merger control, antitrust, unlawful competition, and consumer protection. He is currently pursuing a post-graduate degree in Digital Law and New Technologies at Universidad Externado de Colombia.

Between 2020 and 2021, he worked as a paralegal for a local law firm, assisting clients in matters related to personal data protection, unlawful competition, consumer protection, and distribution contracts. Furthermore, in November 2021, he joined an international firm as an associate for the Antitrust and Data Privacy practice. Since December 2022, he is part of OlarteMoure, working as an associate for the Data Privacy practice. His professional practice focuses on advising clients on the development of strategies aimed at ensuring compliance with data protection regulations, as well as supporting clients in handling data breaches and procedures before competent data protection authorities.
