Lina is a lawyer and specialist at the Universidad Externado de Colombia. In her academic career, she is the author of publications on Copyright and Patents in the Journal of the Intellectual Property Department of the University.

She began her professional experience as a lawyer at Mauricio Velandia Abogados, where she handled competition and consumer law cases before national and Andean courts for more than two years. Since January 2022 Lina has been an associate in the Patent Litigation area of OlarteMoure, defending the interests of national and foreign clients in patent matters.
