In 2018, David obtained his law degree from Universidad del Rosario in Bogotá. Subsequently, in 2021, he received his LL.M. degree in Intellectual Property from Universidad de Los Andes, also in Bogotá. He is currently an LL.M candidate at the University of New Hampshire in the United States, thanks to a scholarship granted by the Interamerican Association of Intellectual Property (ASIPI).

His professional practice focuses on litigation and patents. David worked as a junior lawyer in a corporate criminal law firm, and subsequently in a Civil Circuit Court in Casanare, Colombia.

Since 2020, David has been part of OlarteMoure’s patent litigation team, where he has been involved in the most relevant cases related to the pharmaceutical, telecommunications and port sectors. He has also advised national and foreign companies in the formulation of patent and confidential information contracts.
