Daniela obtained her law degree from Universidad Pontificia Bolivariana (Medellín, Colombia) in 2015. She has more than ten years of experience in intellectual property management and focuses her practice on advising and accompanying universities, public and private companies and research centres in the structuring, development and implementation of Intellectual Property Management Systems and accompanying them throughout the intellectual property cycle from the identification of intangible assets, their protection, management, administration, transfer and monetization of the results of I+D+i+e activities. Daniela has a strong affinity with the implementation of LegalTech methodologies in the practice of the profession.

Additionally, Daniela has studied different programmes such as: Comparative legal traditions; European business law; Brand management and French history in film at the French University Université Jean Moulin, Lyon Trois and courses and diplomas in intellectual property and technology transfer of the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) and other national and international institutions. Daniela has taught at leading universities such as Universidad de Antioquia (UdeA), Universidad Pontificia Bolivariana (UPB) and Instituto Tecnológico Metropolitano de Medellín (ITM) and has actively participated in LES (Licensing Executives Society) events and committees in 2018 and 2023.

In 2015, Daniela joined OlarteMoure as an associate lawyer for the Innovation, Protection and Transfer Directorate (IP&T) and is currently IP&T’s Legal Affairs and LegalTech Coordinator.
