Aldemar has near a decade of scientific experience and a strong working knowledge of the industry. His scientific field a broad range of life science areas such as chemistry, pharmacy, biochemistry, biotechnology, nanomedicine and new materials for biomedical applications. He obtained a B.S. in Chemistry (2009) and later, he received a Master (2013) and a Ph.D. (2021) degree from the Universidad Nacional de Colombia, both in Pharmaceutical Sciences. During his extensive basic science research experience, has been a member of several research groups and has published several peer-reviewed articles in prestigious international journals. In addition, he worked as a Technical Director for several companies from medical devices and other chemical companies.
He has been a consultant in regulatory affairs, and he was a part-time professor at the Universidad Nacional de Colombia for more than three years. Besides, he has participated as a peer reviewer in undergraduate and postgraduate theses.
Since October of 2018, Aldemar has worked as part of OlarteMoure’s team as a Technical Associated for the Patent Prosecution and Technical Assistance in Administrative Patent Litigation for Colombia and the Andean Region. His work involves working with a range of different people to help with the get legal protection for new inventions for companies, universities, and independent inventors.
