The Colombian Government, through the Ministry of Science, Technology and Innovation, has opened the call for proposals under the Biennial Plan of the General Royalties System, aimed at strengthening the country’s scientific capacity and promoting the consolidation and creation of research centers..
The call provides funding of up to COP 200 billion and is addressed to research centers and institutes, technology development centers, higher education institutions, and territorial entities, which may submit proposals individually or through strategic partnerships. Selected projects may be implemented for a maximum period of 36 months.
Proposals must address regional challenges and opportunities, promote the articulation of knowledge networks, and contribute to strengthening the national scientific ecosystem.
