On 12 July 2018,\u00a0Copyright\u00a0Act 1915 of 2018<\/a>\u00a0was signed by the Colombian Government, by which copyright legislation is updated.<\/p>\n

The\u00a0new legislation sets Colombian authors, artists, performers and copyright holders on equal terms with other countries, in accordance with international standards.<\/p>\n

The law also specifies the scope of some copyright and related property rights, increases the term of protection for corporations, and updates the regime of limitations and exceptions to copyright and related rights.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
