noreferrer\">Concept 14680 (27 june 2016)<\/a><\/span>, the Colombian Copyright Office (CCO) expressed that the legislations around the world contemplate limitations and exceptions which determine, under certain circumstances, use of works without express consent of the author.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Regarding architecture works, the CCO said, <em>\u201c<\/em><em>the Andean legislation considers as a limitation any act of reproduction, broadcasting or cable transmission of such works permanently located in places open to the public<\/em><em>\u201d<\/em><em>.<\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Therefore, the mere reproduction of these works does not require authorization, as long as the fair use principle and the \u201cthree steps\u201d rule is met, that is: (i) the reproduction of the work shall be considered as a special case, expressly allowed by law; (ii) the reproduction shall not conflict with normal exploitation of the work; and (iii) the limitation shall not unreasonably prejudice author legitimate interests.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #ffffff;\">.<\/span><\/p>\n<h3 style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>COLOMBIA | Industrial Property\u00a0| <strong>Procedure for electronic notifications
