Nothing extraordinary there. But it&#8217;s the second change where things get interesting.<\/p>\n<p>The Superintendence proposes that Compliance Officers must hold a certification issued by ONAC (Colombia&#8217;s National Accreditation Body) under the ISO\/IEC 17024 standard. In other words: one single valid certification. This would effectively exclude professionals holding widely recognized international certifications, creating a restrictive effect rarely seen in regulations of this kind.<\/p>\n<p>The result? Uncertainty for companies and an additional burden for a sector already battered by the country&#8217;s challenging economic and social conditions.<\/p>\n<p>And there&#8217;s more.
