This year, COTECMAR won the Industry category with a testing bench for submarine, ship, and industrial valves, consolidating its leadership in technological development for the naval, maritime, and river sectors.<\/p>\n<p>The award, held since 1983, also honored projects such as a potable water treatment system (Individual Inventor), a robotic hand for carpal tunnel relief (Youth), biofilms made from vegetable waste (Women Inventors), a dendrometer for tropical agriculture (Micro and Small Enterprises), and organic batteries developed from agro-industrial residues (Research).
