This principle seeks to democratize the internal functioning of automated decision-making systems, ensuring they are understandable to those affected by their operation.<\/p>\n<p>In its decision, the Court determined that disclosing the source code did not compromise <a href=\"https:\/\/olartemoure.com\/en\/cybersecurity-not-just-for-large-industries\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">information security<\/a> or the confidentiality of users&#8217; personal data. Furthermore, it concluded that the refusal to provide it constituted a violation of the fundamental right of access to public information.<\/p>\n<p>Consequently, the principle of algorithmic transparency strengthens the right to access public information while emphasizing the importance of personal data protection and citizens&#8217; privacy.
