The President of Colombia has enacted a law reforming the Consumer Statute, introducing key measures for digital purchases:<\/p>\n

    \n
  1. Businesses must refund money within a maximum of 15 days when users exercise their right of withdrawal, including payments processed through financial entities.<\/li>\n
  2. A “contact portal” is defined as any platform connecting suppliers with consumers for the offer and purchase of goods or services.<\/li>\n
  3. For credit operations conducted through digital means, the law mandates clarity in prior information and transparency regarding fees and interest charges.<\/li>\n
  4. Provisions have also been implemented to regulate delivery times, product availability, claims tracking, and refunds.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    These measures aim to enhance transparency and build trust in Colombia\u2019s digital commerce sector.<\/p>\n
