This law created the Instituto Salvadore\u00f1o de la Propiedad Intelectual (ISPI), which will be in charge of managing procedures and mediating conflicts arising from these rights.<\/p>\n<p>The objective of the new law is to facilitate the protection of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.olartemoure.com\/en\/intellectual-property-rights-and-competition\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Intellectual Property rights<\/a>, reactivate the economy, support small and medium entrepreneurs and promote investment in the country.<\/p>\n<p>Among its main changes are the renewal of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.olartemoure.com\/en\/domain-names-trademarks\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">trade names<\/a> every 10 years, the extension of industrial design protection to 15 years, and the incorporation of new definitions for flavor, relief and texture trademarks.
