Said deal, known as the \u201cWTO Agreement on E-Commerce,\u201d introduces a standardized framework to govern cross-border data flows and electronic contracts, which the ICC believes is crucial for the expansion of a secure <a href=\"https:\/\/www.olartemoure.com\/en\/digital-economy-antitrust-laws-data-protection\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">digital economy<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The agreement addresses key issues such as data privacy, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.olartemoure.com\/en\/cybersecurity-not-just-for-large-industries\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">cybersecurity<\/a>, and digital taxation, as it aims to lower the trade barriers for e-commerce and streamline international transactions, thereby supporting business growth and innovation.
