His appointment was formalized through Decree 0205 of 2024.  <\/p>\n<p>Rossi Buenaventura&#8217;s assumption of the directorship of INVIMA comes at a critical juncture, as the institute maintains its pivotal role in safeguarding public health and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards in Colombia. Furthermore, the new Director remains committed to accelerating administrative processes within INVIMA to alleviate backlogs, enhance efficiency, and proactively address medicine shortages\u2014a pressing issue affecting public health and access to essential treatments.
