By the end of August, the Ministry of Internal Affairs had filed before congress\u00a0bill<\/a>\u00a0#138 seeking to approve treaty which \u201cfacilitates access to published works for blind, visually impaired or otherwise disabled individuals\u201d signed in Marrakesh, Morocco, on 27 June 2013.<\/p>\n

The treaty compels Contracting States to adopt a set of rules aimed at establishing limitations and exceptions to facilitate the reproduction, distribution, and provision of copyright works in accessible formats to organizations at the service of blind, visually impaired or otherwise disabled individuals.<\/p>\n
