Mauricio is a lawyer (graduated with honours) and a Pharmaceutical Chemist from the National University of Colombia. He is also a specialist in Production and Logistics Engineering from the Universidad Distrital. He is currently studying for a Master’s degree in Biosciences and Law at the National University of Colombia.

His practice has focused on the management and integral advice related to Patent Searches, Drafting, Prosecution and Litigation and Industrial Property in general. For several years, Mauricio, in addition to having been a Technical Associate, was the Logistical and Operational Coordinator of the Patent area. In which he designed and developed a robust operational structure that, nowadays, allows them to attend with efficiency and quality the different requirements and volumes of applications in the area. He has also provided legal and technical support on issues related to Regulatory Affairs and Life Sciences.

As Head of Bogota office, Mauricio focuses on the integrated and strategic management of intangible asset portfolios, innovation and client market law.
